My name is Franco and I enjoy playing guitar in my spare time. Before purchasing my first guitar, I knew nothing about them and it never crossed my mind that there was this massive market around every component surrounding this great instrument.

Years have gone by and I have spent loads of time and money after this great hobby. Although my playing skills are not that great, I feel that I have a good ear for music. For this reason I am constantly searching, like many others, for that very illusive, special guitar and tone. Some people would say that the better guitar will not make anyone a better player and this may be true but it will definitely make me want to play more and this reason is good enough for me to spend quality time learning to play it. :~)

In the constant effort of finding more information about this hobby, I found myself scouring the web for long periods, trying to collate music knowledge and understanding the terminology behind it, so I thought that it would be nice to have much of this information in one place, where the beginner guitarists will find some answers to their questions and provide them with special offers on guitars and other music products from our associate sellers.

This site will mainly deal with all the paraphernalia associated with playing electric guitars, midi files, amp modelling, free backing tracks, videos, tutorials, books, news, special offers, wood for musical instruments (tonewoods), frets, bridges, nuts new events... and much more but it will no doubt apply also to acoustic electro-acoustic guitar too.

The information in this site is mainly directed to the new guitar player.
